Returns & Exchanges

A good fit and your comfort is our top priority. Please try on your merchandise as soon as possible after receiving your order and before removing any tags. If for any reason you aren’t satisfied you may return your purchase within 30 days for a full refund or exchange.

***Clearance Items, Customized items, Hardware, Cordage and Special Orders are not returnable.***


 TERMS AND CONDITIONS

  • Returned items must be in their unused, original condition with all tags attached and in the original packaging. If the returned item is not in new condition with tags attached, we reserve the right to refuse the return or charge a restocking fee.
  • 30 days is determined from the shipping date on your invoice to receipt of returned item(s) at Whitecaps Marine Outfitters.
  • Shipping charges are not refundable
  • The customer is responsible for the cost of return shipping. If the return is because of a faulty item or a fulfillment mistake made by Whitecaps Marine Outfitters, we will pay for the return shipping.
  • Clearance Items, Customized items, Hardware, Cordage and Special Orders are not returnable.

 HOW DO I ARRANGE A RETURN?  

Please CONTACT US to let us know you will be returning an item.  We will provide you with a Return Authorization Number and instructions for shipping.  Not all returns will be sent to our main warehouse, so it is important to first contact us for your Return Authorization number and shipping instructions.

Faulty items and Warranty returns will be coordinated with the Manufacturers. Please contact Whitecaps Marine Outfitters for the return process.

When returning items, include in the package:

  • The original packing slip;
  • The returned product with all included parts, tags and packaging
  • Your name, phone number, email address;
  • Reason for the return;
  • If requesting an exchange, tell us what item you like the exchange to be for.
  • Clearance Items, Customized items, Hardware, Cordage and Special Orders are not returnable.

We recommend using a shipping method with tracking such as USPS Priority Mail or UPS, insured). If the return is because of a mistake made by Whitecaps Marine Outfitters, we will pay for shipping. Please call us at 1-888-994-4832 and we will provide shipping instructions.  

A refund will be issued to your original form of payment within 2 business days of receiving your return.  We will first inspect your package to make sure that your items are in an unsued, original condition. If there are any issues with your return, we will contact you immediately.


 EXCHANGES

If you need to exchange your item for any reason, we can handle the exchange in two ways depending on your urgency:

  • If the replacement item is needed right away, we will charge you for the replacement item and have it sent to you right away. You will then be refunded for the original item once it is received (terms and conditions apply as with a return)
  • If time is not of the essence, we will ship the replacement item to you upon receipt of the original item and there will be no additional transactions on your credit card
  • Clearance Items, Customized items, Hardware, Cordage and Special Orders are not returnable.

We promise you FREE SHIPPING, and we mean that. If you need to exchange an item, the shipping of the new item to you is also free. As with returns, you are only responsible for the shipping of the item back to us.

 WARRANTY RETURNS

If you have a fault with your product or a warranty issue, please CONTACT US right away. In most cases, we will work directly with the product manufacturer on your behalf and shipping instructions will vary depending on your specific case.
